Once upon a time, in a colorful town, lived a young boy named Leo. He loved to watch the school plays, but the thought of performing made his tummy flutter! One day, with a collage of bright, happy faces around him, Leo decided to try out for the school play.
His friends, Sunny and Kai, cheered him on, reminding him, “You are brave like a lion!” As he stepped onto the stage, he imagined the faces of his family, smiling proudly.
With each word he spoke, Leo felt his confidence bloom like a sunflower. “I can do this!” he thought. And he did! He got a part in the play!
Rehearsals began, and Leo worked very hard. Sometimes his tummy still felt a little wobbly, especially when he forgot his lines. But his teacher, Ms. Melody, always reminded him, “Practice makes perfect, Leo!”
Sunny and Kai helped him practice too, running lines with him during lunch and after school. They made funny faces and silly voices, which made practicing feel like a game.
Finally, the night of the play arrived! Backstage, Leo’s heart thumped like a drum. He peeked through the curtain and saw all the seats filled with smiling faces. He took a deep breath.
When it was his turn, Leo walked onto the stage. The lights were bright, and for a moment, his mind went blank. Then he remembered his friends’ cheers and his family’s proud smiles.
He took another deep breath and began to speak. His voice was clear and strong. He remembered all his lines, and even added a funny gesture that made the audience giggle!
When the play was over, the audience clapped and cheered! Leo bowed with a big, happy smile. He felt a warm glow spread through him, a feeling even brighter than the stage lights.
From that day on, Leo knew that even though his tummy might still flutter a little, he loved being on stage. He couldn't wait for the next school play, ready for another shining moment!
