On the calendar, they wrote: 'Mia and Mom's Play Hour!' Mia felt excited. But when the time came, Mom was still at her computer. 'Just a few more minutes,' she said. Mia felt her heart sink.

Mia took a deep breath. She remembered what they practiced: 'Mom needs to focus, but I can wait patiently.' So, she played quietly nearby. After a little while, Mom turned and saw Mia. 'I’m so sorry, honey! I’ll finish in 5 minutes, then it’s all about us!'

Five minutes later, Mom closed her laptop. 'Okay, Mia! It’s our time now!' They built a fort together, laughing and playing. Mia felt happy and loved. 'Thanks for being patient, Mia. I love our time together!' Mom said.
