In a sunny little town, there lived a cheerful girl named Penny. Penny loved to save her coins in her bright blue piggy bank. One day, she spotted a shiny new bike in the store window. “I want that bike!” she exclaimed. But Penny remembered her mom’s words: “To buy something special, you need to save up!”

Penny decided to start saving. She took a little notebook and wrote down how much money she had. “I have $5.00!” she cheered. She also drew a picture of her dream bike to hang on her wall. That way, she would remember why she was saving!

Each week, Penny did chores for her family: she washed dishes, walked the dog, and even helped with laundry. For each chore, she earned a dollar. “The more I work, the more I can save!” she said, happily adding her earnings to her piggy bank.

As the weeks went by, Penny watched her piggy bank fill up. But sometimes, she saw her friends buying candy or toys. “It’s okay to spend a little,” her mom reminded her, “but saving for something special is even more rewarding!”

Finally, after a few months, Penny’s piggy bank was full! She counted her savings and had enough for the bike. “I did it!” she shouted. With her mom, she went to the store and bought her special bike. “Saving is worth it,” she said proudly, riding off into the sunset.
