The Vyas Family—Mom Nithya, Dad Deepak, and brothers Vedant and Harsh—loved to explore. Every Saturday, they picked a new, nearby corner of Ahmedabad to discover.
This week, it was the old stepwell near the market. Vedant, the older one, led the way, bouncing on his heels. Harsh, the younger one, kept tripping over his own shadow.
"Look! A shiny pebble!" Harsh shouted, pointing behind a crumbling old archway. But it wasn't a pebble. It was a shimmering, rainbow ripple on the stone wall, like a puddle of light.
Vedant pushed his finger through the light. "Whoa! It feels like warm water!" He looked at his little brother with wide, excited eyes. "Do you think...?" Before anyone could stop them... *WHOOSH!*
**The Land of Painted Paws** The boys tumbled right through the wall and landed on soft, purple grass! This wasn't Ahmedabad anymore. They were surrounded by huge, singing flowers and trees with leaves of gold.
A moment later, a creature walked past. It was an elephant, but covered in feathers that glowed like neon lights! It was pink and blue and had a horn of pure gold.
The boys giggled. "A **Feather-Phant**!" whispered Harsh. The Feather-Phant winked a sparkly eye and used its trunk to spray glitter dust onto a tall, singing tree.
**A Feather-Light Flight Home** Harsh tried to catch a sparkly feather, but it zoomed right past him and landed on his brother's head. "We should find out what's on the other side of that hill!" said Vedant.
They raced to the top and saw hundreds of glittering creatures: bouncy, green deer and tiny, humming bees the size of mangoes. But then, Vedant saw the light fading back at the portal.
"Time to go!" they yelled, running as fast as their legs could carry them. They tumbled out of the portal and right into a giant, relieved hug from Mom Nithya and Dad Deepak.
**The Best Chai and Chewda Ever** Back home, the whole Vyas family shared a big, happy snack of hot chai and crunchy *chewda*. The boys only spoke in whispers about the Feather-Phant and the rainbow ripple.
"What a curious day," smiled Dad Deepak, wiping a smudge of *chewda* from Harsh’s cheek. The next Saturday, they knew exactly where they were going to explore.
