Elara loved to explore. Every twig, every leaf, every buzzing bee held a secret just waiting to be discovered. Her favourite place was the big, leafy park at the edge of town, where birds sang and squirrels chased each other up tall trees.

One sunny afternoon, Elara spotted someone new in the park. He wore a uniform and carried a pair of binoculars. "Hello!" she said, always eager to make new friends. "Are you looking for something special?"

The man smiled. "Hello there! I'm Ranger Finn, and yes, I am looking for something special. I'm looking for signs of all the amazing creatures who call this park home, and beyond!" He pointed to a bird flying high above.

"Did you know, Elara," Ranger Finn continued, "that some animals need our help more than others? They're called endangered animals, and their homes are shrinking, or they're facing dangers that make it hard for them to survive."

He showed her pictures on his tablet. "This is a pangolin. They're shy, scaly creatures, but sadly, they're hunted for their scales. And this," he swiped, "is a sea turtle, whose ocean homes are filled with plastic."

"And look at this magnificent snow leopard," he said, showing another image. "Their mountain homes are getting warmer, making it harder for them to find food and raise their cubs. Every animal, big or small, plays an important part in our world."

Elara felt a little sad, but then a spark ignited within her. "What can *I* do, Ranger Finn? I want to help them!"

Ranger Finn smiled. "Lots, Elara! Even small actions make a big difference. We can start by making sure our park stays clean, recycling everything we can, and choosing products that don't harm animal homes."

Elara went home and told her family everything. Together, they started a "Save Our Animals" club. They planted native flowers in their garden to help local pollinators, and made posters about reducing waste.

Soon, Elara's friends joined in, and then their families too! Everyone learned that protecting endangered animals meant protecting our whole planet. And with every small act of kindness, the world became a safer, happier home for all creatures, big and small.
