Max the gentle tiger sat on his bed. One of his big tiger teeth had a little ache. "Oh dear," he mumbled. "My tooth feels funny." He felt a little bit wobbly and a little bit worried.
Max's mommy came into the room. "What's wrong, my little tiger?" she asked softly. "My tooth is owie," Max whispered. "It's time to see Dr. Daisy," his mommy said with a warm smile. "She'll make it all better."
At the dentist's office, everything was bright and cheerful. A tiny mouse in a nurse's uniform smiled at them. "Hello, Max! I'm Lily," she squeaked. "We have a fun chair just for you."
Lily the mouse led Max into a big room. In the middle was a giant, comfy-looking chair that went up and down. "Wow!" said Max, forgetting to be scared for a moment. "It's like a ride!"
A funny rabbit with long, floppy ears and a white coat bounced into the room. "Hello, Max!" she said with a giggle. "Why did the cookie go to the dentist? Because it felt crummy! I'm Dr. Daisy."
Dr. Daisy patted the big chair. "Hop on up to the spaceship captain's seat!" she said. She pushed a button, and the chair gently floated up. "We're going to the moon!" Max giggled as he lay back.
Lily the mouse came over with a silly bib that had pictures of carrots on it. "This is your superhero cape," she whispered, "to protect you from super tooth sparkles!" She gently tied it around Max's neck.
Dr. Daisy held up a little tool. "This is Mr. Tickles," she explained. "He's going to gently tickle your teeth to make them shiny and clean." The tool made a soft whirring sound, like a happy bee.
Dr. Daisy was very gentle. She counted Max's teeth and used Mr. Tickles to make them sparkle. It didn't hurt at all! It just felt a little buzzy and funny. Max even laughed when it tickled his nose.
"All done!" cheered Dr. Daisy. Lily handed Max a shiny sticker. It was a big, gold star. "This is for being the bravest tiger today," Lily said. Max puffed out his chest. His tooth didn't ache anymore, and he felt very proud.
