Pippa was feeling a bit droopy. "I'm hungry, Nana Sylvie," she sighed, "but I don't know what to eat!"
Nana Sylvie, who loved to cook, smiled. "How about we make something super colourful and super good for you? Something that will make you feel like a superhero!"
Pippa's eyes lit up. "A superhero meal? What is it?" Nana Sylvie winked. "A Rainbow Power Salad and a Berry Blast Smoothie! We'll need lots of fresh ingredients."
First, they gathered crunchy green lettuce, bright red tomatoes, sunny yellow bell peppers, and purple cabbage. "These are our 'grow foods'," Nana Sylvie explained. "They help you grow big and strong!"
Next, for the smoothie, they found juicy strawberries, plump blueberries, and a ripe banana. "These are our 'energy foods'," said Nana Sylvie. "They give you power to run and play!"
Pippa carefully washed the lettuce and tore it into small pieces. She chopped the soft tomatoes with a special kid-safe knife. "Great job, Chef Pippa!" cheered Nana Sylvie.
For the smoothie, Pippa dropped the berries and banana into the blender. Whirr! The blender whizzed and whirred, turning everything into a beautiful, purple swirl.
Soon, the table was set with their amazing rainbow salad and two tall glasses of berry blast smoothie. It looked so delicious!
Pippa took a big bite of salad. "Mmm, crunchy!" she exclaimed. Then she sipped her smoothie. "It tastes like sunshine and berries!"
After their healthy meal, Pippa felt full of energy, ready to play and learn. "Thank you, Nana Sylvie!" she said. "Healthy food makes me feel like a real superhero!"
