Leo's Food Adventure

Leo was a mighty explorer. But his tummy rumbled with the mightiest question of all. "Mom, Dad," he asked, looking up from his toys, "what's for dinner this week?"

"That, my dear explorer," said Mom, "is the greatest adventure of the week!" Dad appeared, unrolling a giant, colorful chart onto the kitchen table. "This is our Super Food Map!" he announced.

"Wow!" said Leo. "Your first mission," said Mom, kneeling beside him, "is to be the Captain of Colors. Can you find one food for every color of the rainbow on our map?" Leo pointed a determined finger. "Red strawberries!"

"A brilliant choice, Captain!" said Dad. "Now, for your next mission, you are the Chief of Strength! To run and play all day, we need Power-Up foods. Which one will you choose?" Leo looked at the pictures of chicken, beans, and fish. "Fish!" he declared.

With their food map list complete, the team marched to the grocery store. Captain Leo sat in the cart, pointing out the treasures. "A yellow banana! A green pepper!" he shouted. Dad laughed and put them in the cart.

Back home, it was time for the kitchen magic to begin. "First, we give our veggies a bath," said Mom. Leo stood on his special stool, helping to rinse a crunchy carrot under the cool water. *Swish, swoosh, splash!*

"Chief of Strength, to me!" called Dad. Leo rushed over. He couldn't use the hot stove, but he was the best lettuce-ripper in the world. *Rip, tear, plop!* The green leaves fell into the big salad bowl.

Soon, the whole house smelled delicious! "Our adventure is almost complete!" said Mom. Leo helped set the table, carefully placing one shiny fork and one colorful napkin at each spot.

As they ate, Dad said, "This is the best fish I've ever had!" Mom added, "And this is the most colorful salad!" They both looked at Leo, who was taking a big, happy bite.

Leo, the mighty food explorer, patted his full tummy. The food tasted even better because he had helped make it himself. He was part of the best cooking team in the world, and he couldn't wait for their next adventure.
