Leo woke up with the sun shining bright. "Hooray, it's summer!" he cheered. He found a dusty old map tucked under his bed. It said, "Summer Adventure Map!"

The map showed a wiggly line leading to a big, green park. "First stop, the park!" Leo exclaimed. He packed his backpack with a water bottle and a snack.

At the park, Leo saw a tall slide. Whee! He zoomed down, giggling all the way. A friendly squirrel, Sparky, chattered from a nearby tree.

The map then led him to a sparkling splash pad. Splish, splash! Leo danced through the water, feeling cool and happy.

While playing, Leo spotted another child, Maya, building a magnificent sandcastle. "That's amazing!" he said. Maya smiled, "Want to help me add a tower?"

Together, Leo and Maya built the tallest, grandest sandcastle the park had ever seen. Sparky even brought a tiny leaf for a flag!

The map's next adventure was a nature trail. Leo and Maya followed a winding path, spotting colorful butterflies and buzzing bees.

They found a quiet spot by a stream. Leo skipped stones, and Maya pointed out a tiny fish darting in the water.

As the sun began to set, painting the sky in orange and pink, Leo and Maya knew it was time to go home. They waved goodbye, promising more adventures tomorrow.
