Mia and her mom were going to the grocery store. "Remember, Mia," Mom said, "we need to think about what we really need and what we just want."
1
As they entered the store, Mia spotted a shiny toy on the shelf. "Wow! I want that!" she exclaimed. "But do we need it for dinner?" Mom asked wisely.
2
Mia thought hard. "We need fruits and veggies for a healthy dinner," she said. "But I really want that toy!" Mom smiled, "How about we make a plan?"
3
"Let’s save for the toy," Mom suggested. "We can set aside a little money each week." Mia nodded. "That way, I can earn it!"
4
As they finished shopping, Mia saw a donation box. "Can I give some of my saved coins to help others?" she asked. Mom beamed, "Of course! Sharing is important too!"
5
Mia learned that shopping can be an adventure! She understood needs, wants, saving, and sharing. "Next time, I’ll plan even better!" she cheered.
